What a fun first week we have had!
We met Ms. Ally our gym teacher on Monday, and had a blast reading a story with Eric, our librarian, on Wednesday. In the classroom we have been quite busy!
Some highlights from this week are:
-Many of us took on a caring roll while playing with babies.
-We observed light with the projector and watched as our patterns appeared on the wall.
-We tested out physics as we explored with ramps, cars and balls.
-We tested out real world responsibilities as we played in the kitchen and offered food to friends and teachers.
-We have marveled at the way our caterpillars have changed and continue to grow.
It has been fun getting to know everyone and our new space.
Looking ahead:
-We won't have school on Monday 9/3. We look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday!
-Next week we have school pictures on Friday 9/7
-As part of making our school more secure, the front doors will be locked after 8:10. If you arrive after this time you will need "buzz in" with Kathi and she will let you in.
