Welcome to Preschool! Our first day will be August 27th! It's hard to believe that's right around the corner. Our day will officially start at 8:00AM but our classroom will be open at 7:30AM. Our day will end at 12:30 when your child will either board the bus or get picked up. Our schedule will provide time for both snack and lunch. There is an option to order snack through the school and lunch ("hot lunch") through the school. If you plan to bring a lunch from home ("cold lunch"), we ask that it be a ready-to-eat lunch as we do not have the capability to heat up everyone's lunches. We also ask that your child brings in a full water bottle each day to stay hydrated. We are also asking that your child comes in with an extra change of clothes that can be left in the classroom. You may also want to keep an extra set of clothes in their back pack just in case. We encourage lots of exploration especially in nature so please expect that your child's clothes may get dirty. With a class of 12 we kindly ask that you label your child's belongings so as to minimize confusion and make sure your child comes home with his/her own belongings.
One final note. We will be having an open house on August 23rd from 4:00-5:00PM for you and your child to revisit the classroom, meet myself and Emily Church, and meet some of their peers.
